Dayawan Nuclear Power Station, lying on the Daya Bay, has two sets of reactors respectively with an installed capacity of 900,000 kilowatts. It is by far the largest jointly-invested nuclear power project. The sub-contractor for installation of the station, Guangdong Nuclear Power Joint Venture Ltd., is jointly invested by Guangdong Nuclear Power Investment Co., Ltd and Hong Kong Nuclear Power Investment Co., Ltd.
Through ten years of hardworking, the company, in strict compliance with regulations of the international Atomic Energy Association and National Nuclear Safety Association, successfully accomplished the installation task with high quality.
Dayawan Phase I and Phase II were put into business on Feb. 5, 1994. The success of Dayawan Nuclear Power Station provides up-to-date technology, qualified personnel and administrant experience for China's nuclear power industry.
