"Support Beijing Olympics" Association Formed in Japan

A ceremony was held on Monday in Tokyo to mark the establishment of an association in Japan's parliament to support the Beijing Olympic Games.
Speaker of the Japanese House of Representatives Kono Yohei said the establishment of the association will further strengthen relations between the two countries.

　　Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wang Yi expressed his gratitude to members of the Japanese parliament. He also hopes the association will be dedicated to linking the two countries and two peoples.

　　The association includes 225 members of the two houses of Japan's parliament.
