　　In April, onlookers can enjoy European beauty at Shixiang Lake, by watching the blooming tulips.

　　Shixiang Lake is located in Pujiang County and includes sixteen scenic areas, such asTwo Dragons Playing One Pearl, Fortune Approaching, Ancient Zither Terrace, Lawn of Spring, and Old Mt. Elephant School.

　　The tulip is Holland's national flower, and the country exports millions of tulips annually to Shixiang Lake. The flowers bloom yellow, white, purple, pink and lavender. The Tulip Festival held annually at Shixiang Lake is the largest in Asia, and brings the essence of a European Spring to the Chengdu area.

　　Ⅴ. Peony in Pengzhou: As famous as Peony in Luoyang

　　Pengzhou is famous for its peonies, with a history stretching back more than 800 years.

　　The best place to enjoy peonies in Pengzhou is Mt. Danjing, where the flowers are most centralized. There are more than 100,000 plants in 200 categories on the mountain, including "Danjing Red," "Jade Chonglou," "Pengzhou Purple," and "Jinyuan Yellow."
