ICH copyright regulation released in Chengdu

Recently, the Intellectual Property Bureau of Chengdu has released the 2007 Chengdu Intangible Cultural Heritage Work Copyright Registration Regulation, which is the first of this kind in China, in order to encourage the creation of ICH pieces.

　　In the first two days of the International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in Chengdu, the city's Intellectual Property Bureau has received over 200 applications for ICH pieces' copyright.

　　The bureau will also offer financial awards of 150 yuan ($20) to 200 yuan ($26) to applicants granted copyright.
