China Broadcasting Orchestra

The rudiment of the Former Chinese Orchestra of China Film Philharmonic Orchestra is the Chinese Orchestra of China News Film Orchestra, which renamed as the Chinese Orchestra of Beijing Film Philharmonic Orchestra later. Performing style of the former instrumentalists such as Liu Mingyuan, Hu haiquan are very popular among audience. Some famous works, such as Xi yangyang(happiness), Zi zhudiao(zizhu melody), Fan shen de ri zi(liberating day), are know to the world by the Orchestra. In the past fifty years, the two former Orchestras have performed and taped thousands of music works of films, TV series, Broadcasting, tape, CD and so on, which was regarded as great contribution for national broadcasting and film industry. Many works still are reserved ones in different orchestras.

　　In past fifty years, many famous experts appeared, including Peng Xiuwen, Liu Mingyuan, Hu Haiquan, Zhang Shao, Yu Liangmo, Wang Guotong, Liu Sen, Wang Fandi, Jian Guangyi etc. At present, excellent conductors Pang Kapang, Zhang Lie, and performers, Jiang Kemei, Zhou Dongchao become familiar among audience.

　　The consolidated China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra pays great attention to management and construction. Every year, a rigorous test is held to select excellent performers to their seats. Taking advantage of the feasible situation, an unprecedented project, National Music Season, comes forth. Starting from April 8th, 2005, there is a music show every month. The Orchestra will demonstrate the essence of traditional music culture to our audience with involvement of famous conductor, performer and composer, which also create chances for the development, exchange and improvement of the Orchestra. We will try our best to make China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra as one of best Orchestra in the world.
