One hundred years of ferries
The ferries of Victoria Harbor have been in operation for over a century. Not only are they a famous Hong Kong tourist attraction, many residents still rely on them to commute to work.
"Ding dong"
Hong Kong's tramway system has been operating since 1904. Today,
approximately 230,000 passengers ride the trams daily. The mellow "ding dong" of
the tram whistle floats over the city, serving as a constant reminder of the
system's hundred years of history.
