Theatre

　　Big glitzy Broadway-style musicals are always popular in Hong Kong, the most recent being a long run of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most successful musical, "The Phantom of the Opera." Other big draws have been "Rent," the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning American musical starring local celebrity Karen Mok; old favorite "The Sound of Music" which celebrated its 45th anniversary in Hong Kong; and "Saturday Night Fever" and "Mamma Mia!" Other hits have been "Singin' In The Rain," "Fame - the Musical," "Les Misérables," and "CHICAGO - The Musical."
