Eddie joined Singapore Airlines in 1963 and was involved in their international expansion until 1990, when he accepted a position as Area Manager for Emirates in Singapore.
Prior to his Emirates appointment in Singapore, Eddie was General Manager, Egypt & Sudan before being transferred to Dubai as Singapore Airlines General Manager for the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, & Iran.
After successfully establishing the Singapore hub for Emirates, he was appointed in 1992 as General Manager for West Asia and Pacific Rim. His responsibilities covered India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Philippines, and offline countries in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Australia & New Zealand.
